athleteSarah Walker

BIO

Sarah started racing at the age of ten years old in 1999 and has been hooked ever since. At first she only did It as a hobby and did not take it seriously and just wanted to join in on the fun that her brother was having. When it became clear that she had a knack for it, Sarah became a well-known female BMX competitor.

In 2016, she wanted to follow her dream of being the fastest women in the world on a 20inch bike as well as to be the very first rider from New Zealand to become a BMX Olympian. At her first Olympics Game, she missed out on the medal, but she came back with a bang and managed to win the silver medal at the London Olympics.

Her new goal is to win the gold medal in the Rio Olympics (2016). Sarah wears the Leatt DBX Helmet, DBX 6.5 Neck Brace, Elbow Guards, Knee Guards and Body Protection when she is racing BMX.

Leatt Gear: DBX Helmet, DBX 6.5 Neck Brace, Elbow Guards, Knee Guards, Body Protection.
