athleteRemy Morton

Remy, also known as ‘Rem Dawg’, is a young Australian BMX rider who is currently residing in New Zealand. He started riding at the young age of only four or five years old and raced in his first downhill race when he was seven years old. By the time he was 15 years old he wanted to take it further. He took the chance and quit school in order to be able to work full time to be able to focus solely on racing and being able to save up for his trip to race in Europe and Canada.

It paid off as his name became a famous one in the biking world when he raced exceptionally – at only 16 years old. His excellent results landed him a sponsorship with Devinci. His first big career highlight was partaking in the 2015 World Cup with the UR team. He has since signed with Lusty Industries.

He is also known for the epic track that he has in his backyard back home on the Gold Coast. “My favourite kind of riding track is slow speed technical, where you actually have to have skill to ride it. I also like race tracks that are flat out fast with big jumps and corners,” says Remy.
