Bikes have been one of the main thing in Hendriks’ whole life. The years before his age had two digits, he spent almost all his time riding around with friends looking for small jumps.
His dad got him into XC riding, but he decided to focus on riding down the hills instead of up in 2010. During the first year of riding long travel bikes, he broke his ankle. Since he loves competition, it only took two years for him to start racing. Finishing 6th at his first race was motivating and after one more year, he got into Propain Bike´s factory team.
Six years, two vice national champion titles, many national series podiums and unfortunately even more broken wrists later, he is still riding for the same company and also manages their two national racing teams. One of his main goals is to finally find that line between riding on the limit and breaking his bones and while he is still trying to find it, he spends most of his time riding and racing bikes all over Europe.
