David, a Swiss BMX rider, started to really make a name for himself in 2015 and has only been climbing in the ranks ever since. Now a serious contender in the international racing scene, he is racing with the cream of the crop at high-profile races such as the UCI BMX World Championship and the Baku European Olympic Games – and even secured a bronze medal in the latter.
He started riding bikes at the age of only two years old and was Swiss Champion in his age class by the time that he was six years old. His father was a Motocross rider but back in the day, BMX was still a very underdeveloped and unknown sport in Switzerland. However, as soon as David got on his first BMX bike, his parents could not get him off it, and he was hooked. He went on to be the Swiss Champion six years in a row, and won numerous other national awards.
With such a quick rise in success, David has proven that he is not afraid to fail and will work hard to succeed. He loves working on his bike and improving on it and believes that BMX is a very mental sport.
