Pro FMX Rider Jason Cesco Joins the #LeattFamily
We have added yet another exciting new athlete to our #LeattFamily, and this time it is a Freestyle Snowmobile rider from Italy, Jason Cesco.
Onboard his Polaris ski, he will be competing in a number of events this year, including Night of Freestyle and Motor Show.
Jason is known as the “Italian guy who makes his sled fly” and for being the first to land a back-flip on dirt aboard a snowmobile.
Knowing the high risk associated with his sport, he will be wearing our Leatt helmet, neck brace, body protection, and high-performance off-road apparel.
We are excited to have him on our team and to get his feedback regarding our products!
Our Leatt helmet he will be wearing features ground-breaking 360° Turbine Tech. This means that 360° Turbines are placed strategically between the EPS and the rider’s head. Basically, these “bumpers” are made of soft, energy-absorbing Armourgel® that hardens on impact, so the harder or faster you fall the better it works.
This tech improves the multiple-impact protection, but more importantly: reduces the head impact at concussion level up to 30% and the rotational acceleration to head and brain by up to 40%.
When it comes to the off-road apparel he will be wearing, the GPX 5.5 Ultraweld jersey offers an ultra-light layer of protection made of four-way stretch mesh fabric that is MoistureCool wicking. Its tape-bonded seams also offer a superior level of comfort with an athletic stretch fit.
The pants are called the GPX 5.5 and contain a new system called the Internal Knee Brace System (I.K.S) which reduces wear and tear.
The range of GPX Lite gloves he will be wearing offer a ventilated, premium protection system. The upper is made of a light, four-way stretch material that offers a good airflow, and the palm is made of the unique and high-tech NanoGrip material that is reinforced with Aramid. NanoGrip is known for having fibers that are 7.500 times thinner than hair, as well as for its durability, breathability and its excellent wet and dry grip properties.
With all this Leatt gear, we are excited to see him push his boundaries even more than before! Here’s to a great 2017 for our newest #LeattFamily member Jason Cesco!
