Garrett Marchanks Crashes at High Point MX

Garrett Marchbanks crashed hard at the fourth round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross, High Point National in Mt. Morris, PA.

He was in sixth place at the time, with only two laps to go, and got cross rutted. Thankfully, Garrett was wearing the Leatt C-Frame Pro knee brace and emerged only with a strained MCL and won’t not need surgery. He will just have to take a couple of weeks off from racing and hopes to return for round six, Southwick National in Southwick, MA on June 30th.

He posted an update on his Instagram account:

“Sad to say I won’t be lining up this weekend for Muddy Creek. As many of you already know, I went down hard at high point. I suffered a strained MCL in my left knee. Me and my team are doing everything we can to be back 100% for Southwick. Thank you for all your thoughts and concerns. Also, thanks to my team for their patience and understanding,” he said.

We at Leatt wish him a speedy recovery!
