Altus de Wet Claims 2nd in Dundee National Enduro Champs
Leatt athlete Altus de Wet claims second place, and looks good doing it in his new 2017 Leatt gear
Round 1 of the Liquorland National Enduro Championship in Dundee took place on 11 February near the small town of Dundee, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
Leatt athlete Altus de Wet rode the smaller cc class this year and had a good start, riding on the heels of the class winner. Having ended up in second place last year, he was adamant to make it to the top of the podium. He managed to finish 2cd in E1.
“It was a tough day at the office for sure, especially with the tight times, but I pushed hard from the start and made my times on the first two laps and charged hard in the special tests to bring home the win in the seniors. The YZ250FX handles the very rough and rocky terrain like a boss! I absolutely loved it! Thanks to our awesome team for making the weekend so epic!” Altus posted on social media.
