Meet the Leatt 2018 Bike Family
We are thrilled to announce our 2018 Leatt bicycle athletes! We can’t wait for the season to get into full swing and follow these riders and teams throughout the season.
Here is the list of athletes that will be rocking our neck braces, and/or protection gear, apparel and helmets in 2018.
Danny needs no introduction. We are stoked to continue our Leatt Neck Brace sponsorship with Danny for a consecutive year as he carries on making Rob Warner and Claudio Caluori go wild in the commentary booth.
Make sure to keep a close eye on Danny this year, as he jumps over to Madison – Saracen this season with the intention to secure more podiums.
Mr. Chase, has so much control on two wheels – he even rode the ride Hellion at Highland Mountain Bike Park without brakes or a chain! We are stoked to continue supporting him head to knee as Aaron pursues wild adventures.
Bernard is multi-talented Leatt Neck Brace rider known for his downhill racing, freeride, dirt jump and motocross. Who remembers his nose stoppie in Squamish? Or his 2016 Red Bull Hardline winning run? We can guarantee some crazy, fun, fast speed action this season from Bernard.
Leatt’s head-to-knee Australian DH athlete Jackson Frew will be competing at the UCI DH World Championship, Crankworx Series and national DH series. With a National Champs podium spot already last weekend, we are stoked for the 2018 season to be fully underway.
French freeride legend who secured the 2017 Red Bull Rampage People’s Choice Award. Leatt is proud to continue our Neck Brace partnership with Antoine as he pursues new Freeride and Downhill adventures.
Austrian Enduro and Freerider who continues to pursue untouched hidden gems and create outstanding content wearing our Leatt X MucOff co-branded helmet.
You’ll find Leatt’s head-to-knee athlete, Hannes at home on the jumps and fast tracks. Being a multi-times vice world champion in 4X, his aim is simple: get the top spot.
Teal continues to push her limitations and continues living an extraordinary life on two wheels wearing head to knee Leatt apparel and protection.
Lauren continues to race some of the EWS rounds wearing Leatt head to knee apparel and protection, but she has taken a step back from racing as she is now the MTB Marketing Manager for Fuji Bikes.
World Cup DH podium regular Emilie Siegenthaler will continue to pursue the top spot wearing our Leatt Neck Brace.
Cam McCaul needs no introduction. Leatt is proud to support Cam along on his wild adventures.
Tyler McCaul will continue to wear Leatt Neck Brace for a consecutive year as he continues to pursue biggest freeride lines.
Anita and Caro Gehrig
Swiss Enduro riders and twins from Switzerland, have raced everything from World Cup downhill and Swiss Nationals 4X, through to big mountain enduro. Having placed 4th and 5th at the EWS overall ranking in 2017, they have an exciting season ahead and we are proud to support them with our protective gear.
Leatt is the proud protection, helmets and kit sponsor of Scott-Velosolutions riders Gaetan Vigé and team owner Claudio Caluori. It’s going to be an exciting season for the Scott-Velosolutions team, that is for sure.
Devinci X Unior DH team
Jure Žabjek, Dakotah Norton and Rudy Cabirou make up the all-new team of elite UCI World Cup. Leatt will support the team with helmets and neck braces as they take on the 2018 season.
Brothers Andi, Michi and Toni Tillmann, plus Florian Berghammer and Felix Heine make up a well-known MTB Crew from Germany. They carry incredible style and produce top-notch videos.
NS Bikes Global Team
The young Hiag Data – NS Bikes factory racing athletes: Carina Cappellari, Sławek Łukasik, Noel Niederberger and Lutz Weber will be head to knee in Leatt protection, helmet and kit as they pursue their dreams of becoming successful World Cup competitors.
Propain Gravity Union
Hendrik Peters, Anton Wünscher, Marcel Merkeli, Erik Emmrich, Jannick Lange make up the Propain Gravity Union Downhill team. You’ll find them head to knee in Leatt gear at the all the most important DH races in Europe.
Marin Enduro Team – Martha Gill & Mathew Koen
Martha Gill is the U21 Enduro World Series champion along with Mathew Koen who ended his 2017 U21 Enduro World Series with a 4th and a 6th place ranking. Leatt is thrilled to support both team riders with apparel, protection gear and helmets as they set their eyes on the overall top spot in 2018.
