Leatt Wins Two Design & Innovation 2018 Awards

Regarded as the global seal and benchmark of the world’s best products, we are proud to announce that our Leatt DBX 2.0 Helmet and 3.5 Neck Brace have each won a Design & Innovation Award.

As part of our 2018 bicycle line, we introduced a trail-specific gear line which includes our DBX 2.0 Helmet and a new lightweight, affordable 3.5 neck brace.

The DBX 2.0 brings Leatt’s DH-proven safety technology to your home trail at a very attractive price point of 119, -€ RRP.

It is equipped with 360º Turbine Technology that helps reduce the risk of head impact at concussion level (by up to 30%) and rotational acceleration to your head and brain (by up to 40%). The helmet is well-ventilated with 20 vents, lightweight and is equipped with a breakaway visor.

Highly comfortable with outstanding value for money, the Leatt DBX 2.0 is an admirable option for safety-conscious mountain bikers.

“The latest chapter in the story of Leatt, the DBX 2.0 embodies their principles like no other open-faced helmet, coming in at the intersection of the ultimate protection with the fairest price. … Highly comfortable with outstanding value for money, the Leatt DBX 2.0 is an admirable option for safety-conscious mountain bikers.“ – Jury.

The latest neck brace in the range is the lightest (30% lighter) and most affordable model ever produced. Featuring a combination of in-molded EPS construction with a polyamide core, similar to what is found in high-performance bicycle helmets.

This new neck brace has also recently won two prestigious awards at the annual Eurobike and Interbike international bicycle industry trade events. The Interbike International Bicycle Exposition is the largest bicycle industry trade event in North America and their awards are aimed at recognizing excellence and innovation in product, retail and advocacy. Eurobike is the world’s leading trade fair where international bike industry exhibitors present their products and services

While the standard version retails at € 279, there’s also a junior version of the DBX 3.5 Neck Brace for € 229, which means this key piece of safety equipment runs the spectrum of riders.

“The latest neck brace to be launched by the experts in neck protection, Leatt, represents their most lightweight and affordable model ever produced. The Leatt DBX 3.5 is a convincing display of design with a simple yet well-considered structure. … Quite simply, it’s a neck brace that you’ll be stoked to wear.” – Jury.
